Virginia's so-called "moderate" Democrat Governor Abigail Spanberger just ripped off her mask and revealed her true colors – and they're the same radical blue as AOC and the Squad. On Wednesday, the former federal law enforcement officer turned her back on everything she once stood for by signing an executive order that TERMINATES all state and local police cooperation with Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
This is the same woman who campaigned as a centrist, promising Virginia families she'd keep them safe. Instead, she's rolling out the red carpet for criminal aliens while handicapping the very ICE agents working to implement President Trump's America First immigration agenda.
"Virginia Gov. Abigail Spanberger signed an executive directive Wednesday ordering state law enforcement agencies to terminate all 287(g) agreements with U.S. ICE, which had placed Virginia officers under federal supervision to conduct civil immigration enforcement," reported @improvethenews on social media.
The 287(g) agreements Spanberger just demolished were crucial tools that allowed Virginia State Police and other local agencies to work hand-in-hand with federal immigration authorities. These partnerships helped remove dangerous criminal aliens from Virginia communities – but apparently that's too much "law and order" for this fake moderate.
Virginia patriots are already sounding the alarm. One frustrated resident posted on social media: "And just like that, Virginia Democrat Governor Spanberger signs an executive order directing law enforcement to terminate all contacts with ICE & DHS... I'm out. I refuse to live in a sanctuary state."
This treacherous move puts Spanberger squarely in the camp of sanctuary state governors like Gavin Newsom and Kathy Hochul – the same radical Democrats who prioritize illegal aliens over American citizens. While President Trump works tirelessly to secure our borders and remove criminal aliens, Spanberger is actively sabotaging those efforts.
Make no mistake: this executive order isn't about "civil rights" or "community policing." It's about one thing – protecting illegal aliens from deportation while leaving Virginia families vulnerable to the criminals among them.
Virginia voters were sold a bill of goods by this wolf in sheep's clothing. The question now is: will they remember this betrayal when Spanberger comes asking for their votes again?
