DELUSIONAL: Raskin Claims SAVE Act 'Has Nothing to Do with Voter ID' Despite Being ENTIRELY About Voter ID

In a stunning display of gaslighting that would make Orwell blush, Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) claimed Friday on MSNBC's "All In" that the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act has "nothing to do with voter ID" – despite the fact that the legislation is literally designed to require proof of citizenship before voting.

The SAVE Act, which has been a cornerstone of President Trump's election integrity agenda, requires documentary proof of U.S. citizenship to register to vote in federal elections. But apparently in Raskin's twisted reality, requiring identification to prove you're legally allowed to vote somehow has "nothing to do" with voter identification.

This is the same Jamie Raskin who has spent years fighting common-sense voter ID laws while simultaneously arguing that certain groups are somehow incapable of obtaining basic identification – a position that reveals the soft bigotry of low expectations that defines the modern Democrat Party.

"Jamie Raskin says women are too stupid to get ID because they married and changed their names," one social media user pointed out, highlighting the condescending assumptions underlying Democrat opposition to election security measures.

The hypocrisy is staggering. Democrats like Raskin routinely claim that requiring ID to vote is somehow discriminatory, yet they have no problem requiring ID to buy alcohol, board a plane, or enter their own political events. The only logical conclusion is that they WANT non-citizens voting in our elections.

Patriots on social media aren't buying Raskin's gaslighting attempt. As one user noted: "Chuck Schumer and democrats have for decades claimed black people are too stupid to get ID" while simultaneously calling Trump racist for supporting basic election security.

With President Trump now back in the White House and Republicans controlling Congress, the SAVE Act represents a critical opportunity to restore integrity to our elections. The fact that Democrats like Raskin are resorting to outright lies about what the legislation does proves they know their days of exploiting election loopholes are numbered.

How much longer will Americans tolerate Democrats' war on election integrity? The time for games is over – it's time to secure our elections once and for all.

The gaslighting from Democrats on election security is unreal. They oppose every single measure to ensure only eligible citizens vote, then act confused about why people have concerns about election integrity.

Can someone explain to me how Democrats can oppose something as basic as verifying citizenship before voting? What's their actual argument here?

Every other democratic country requires proof of citizenship to vote. Why is America supposed to be different? This should be bipartisan common sense.

I had to show my ID to buy fertilizer at Home Depot last week, but somehow requiring ID to vote is discriminatory? Makes zero sense.

How can Raskin say this with a straight face? The SAVE Act is literally called the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act - it's RIGHT THERE in the name!

These politicians think we're all idiots. We can read the bill ourselves!

This is exactly why we can't trust the mainstream media to report accurately on election integrity issues. They'll twist anything to fit their narrative.

Spot on. That's why I only get my news from independent sources now.

Raskin is completely out of touch with reality.
