While President Trump champions election integrity in his second term, establishment Republicans led by Mitch McConnell are reportedly stonewalling the SAVE Act—legislation designed to secure American elections from foreign interference and fraud.
Rep. Brandon Gill fired off a letter to McConnell demanding his committee stop the deliberate delays. "I just sent a letter to Mitch McConnell asking his committee to stop stalling the SAVE Act," Gill stated, highlighting the growing frustration among America First Republicans.
The SAVE Act, which would require proof of citizenship for voter registration and strengthen election security measures, has been languishing in McConnell's Rules Committee since the middle of last year. This critical legislation should be a slam dunk for any Republican who actually cares about election integrity—so why the holdup?
Patriots Call Out the Obstruction
Americans aren't staying silent about this sabotage. Social media is lighting up with fury over McConnell's tactics.
"The problem is the Mitch McConnell is in charge of the Rules Committee - and won't let this get to the floor. Thune is not a Leader, but an obstructionist, allowing others to slow walk it over a cliff and block it," one concerned patriot posted on X.
Another frustrated American cut straight to the chase: "This house bill has been locked in a McConnell committee since middle of last year. Thune will slow walk it, and when it passes some radical DC circuit judge will block it. And Time will have run out."
It's the same old playbook from the swamp creatures—delay, obstruct, and run out the clock while pretending to support conservative priorities.
The Deep State's Insurance Policy?
McConnell's obstruction isn't happening in a vacuum. The establishment wing of the GOP has never fully embraced Trump's election integrity agenda, despite overwhelming evidence of vulnerabilities in our election systems. Could this be their way of keeping the door open for future "irregularities"?
President Trump ran on securing our elections and delivered a mandate from the American people. Yet here we are, watching Senate RINOs play games with legislation that should have passed months ago.
The question patriots are asking is simple: Will Senate Republicans finally stand with Trump and the American people, or will they let McConnell's committee continue undermining election security to spite the President they claim to support?
