Just days before Super Bowl LX kicks off on Sunday, patriotic Americans are raising serious questions about the NFL's continued embrace of woke politics after details emerged about halftime performer Bad Bunny's extensive history of left-wing activism and anti-Trump hatred.
The Puerto Rican reggaeton artist, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, has spent years using his platform to push radical leftist talking points, including vocally supporting the Black Lives Matter movement, endorsing Kamala Harris's failed presidential campaign, and launching vicious attacks against ICE agents working to secure our border.
Most disgracefully, Bad Bunny has repeatedly used profanity-laced tirades against President Trump, including posting "F**K TRUMP" on his social media platforms – the same President who is now serving his second term after a decisive victory that proved the American people rejected exactly this kind of elite Hollywood hatred.
NFL's Woke Problem Continues
This latest controversy highlights the NFL's ongoing problem with injecting divisive politics into what should be America's biggest sporting celebration. While millions of hardworking Americans just want to enjoy football without being lectured by coastal elites, the league continues to hand its biggest platform to performers who openly despise half the country.
Bad Bunny's anti-ICE stance is particularly tone-deaf given President Trump's current mass deportation efforts, which have overwhelming support from Americans who are tired of open borders and sanctuary city policies that put criminals before citizens.
"Why does the NFL keep choosing performers who hate America and our President? There are plenty of talented artists who actually respect this country and its values."
The timing couldn't be worse for the NFL's woke agenda. With Trump back in the White House and Republicans controlling Congress, Americans have clearly rejected the kind of radical activism that Bad Bunny represents. Yet here's the league, once again, shoving left-wing politics down the throats of fans who just want to watch football.
As Super Bowl Sunday approaches, one has to wonder: will patriotic Americans continue supporting a league that consistently platforms Trump-hating activists, or will they finally say enough is enough? The NFL's ratings – and their bottom line – may soon provide the answer.
