A foreign-born Democratic congressman just gave away the game, openly threatening to throw Republicans in prison when his party regains power. Rep. Shri Thanedar of Michigan made the shocking threat during a Tuesday committee hearing, struggling through broken English to promise prosecutions of Trump officials.
During questioning of Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Rodney Scott, Thanedar – who wasn't even born in this country – had the audacity to threaten an American patriot doing his job to secure our border. The Democrat essentially promised that when Trump leaves office, they'll come after Scott and other officials with the full force of government persecution.
This is what we're dealing with, folks. While President Trump works to restore law and order and secure our borders, Democrats are already plotting their revenge tour for when they potentially regain power. They're not even trying to hide their authoritarian impulses anymore.
The Mask Comes Off
Thanedar's threat perfectly encapsulates everything wrong with today's Democratic Party. Here's a congressman who benefited from America's generous immigration system, only to turn around and threaten the very officials working to protect that system from abuse.
Commissioner Scott has been doing exactly what the American people elected Trump to do – enforce our immigration laws and secure the border. But to Democrats like Thanedar, following the law and protecting Americans is apparently a crime worthy of prosecution.
"This is a clear preview of what Democrats plan to do if they ever get power back – weaponize the justice system against anyone who dared to serve under Trump or implement America First policies."
The timing couldn't be more revealing. Just three weeks into Trump's second term, as the administration works to implement the mandate voters gave them in 2024, Democrats are already fantasizing about political prosecutions and revenge.
America First Under Attack
Patriots need to understand what's at stake here. This isn't just about one rogue congressman making threats. This is about a party that has completely abandoned the peaceful transfer of power and constitutional governance in favor of banana republic-style persecution of political opponents.
Will the American people allow foreign-born politicians to threaten the very officials working to protect our sovereignty? The 2026 midterms just became even more crucial for preserving our republic.
