Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker has joined a growing chorus of Democrat governors boycotting a White House dinner after President Trump made the smart decision to disinvite two of their most unhinged colleagues from what was supposed to be a bipartisan gathering.
The liberal meltdown began when Trump rightfully excluded governors who have spent the past four years actively working against America First policies and undermining federal law enforcement. Now these same Democrats are throwing a collective tantrum, proving once again they're more interested in political theater than actually governing.
Pritzker, whose own state continues to hemorrhage residents fleeing his disastrous tax-and-spend policies, apparently thinks he's making some grand statement by refusing to attend. What he's really doing is showing the American people exactly who stands with the President's agenda to secure our borders and restore law and order β and who doesn't.
Democrats Choose Politics Over Partnership
This boycott exposes the fundamental problem with today's Democrat Party: they simply cannot accept that Donald Trump is their President. Rather than work together on issues that matter to hardworking Americans, they'd rather stage walkouts and issue press releases.
The so-called 'traditionally bipartisan event' was never going to be bipartisan when you have governors who actively encourage illegal immigration and defiance of federal law.
Trump's decision to curate the guest list makes perfect sense. Why should the President be forced to host governors who have spent years calling him every name in the book while their states crumble under failed progressive policies?
The real question Americans should be asking is this: while Democrat governors are busy boycotting dinners, who's actually focused on fixing the mess left behind by four years of Biden's failures? The answer is clear β it's President Trump and the governors who choose governance over grandstanding.
Patriots can see right through this manufactured outrage. These are the same Democrats who spent years trying to remove Trump from office, and now they're upset they didn't get a dinner invitation? The audacity is breathtaking, but not surprising.
