The radical left has reached a new low in their unhinged attacks on President Trump's immigration enforcement agenda, with Democratic lawmakers disgracefully comparing Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents to Nazis during a fiery House hearing on Tuesday.
Rep. Dan Goldman, the New York Democrat who made a name for himself as a Trump impeachment attack dog, led the charge in vilifying the brave men and women who risk their lives to enforce America's immigration laws. Goldman and his fellow Democrats launched into hysterical comparisons between ICE agents and Hitler's Gestapo as the agency's acting director defended the administration's crackdown on illegal immigration.
This disgusting rhetoric isn't just an insult to our law enforcement officers – it's a slap in the face to Holocaust survivors and their families. When Democrats throw around Nazi comparisons like campaign confetti, they cheapen the memory of six million Jews who died under actual fascism.
But here's what's really going on: Democrats are panicking because President Trump's deportation operations are working exactly as promised. The Trump-Vance administration has delivered on its pledge to remove criminal illegal aliens from American communities, and the left can't stand it.
Patriots vs. Political Theater
While Goldman and his colleagues were busy playing political theater with Holocaust analogies, ICE agents were out there doing the job the American people elected Trump to do – securing our border and removing dangerous criminals who have no business being in our country.
These are the same Democrats who spent four years calling Trump supporters fascists while they weaponized federal agencies against their political opponents.
The irony is thick enough to cut with a knife. These are the same Democrats who spent the Biden years weaponizing the FBI, DOJ, and other federal agencies against parents at school board meetings and Trump supporters. Now they have the audacity to call ICE agents Nazis for simply enforcing immigration law?
Americans see right through this desperate attempt to demonize immigration enforcement. We know who the real authoritarians are – and it's not the ICE agents protecting our communities from criminal aliens.
