The chickens are finally coming home to roost for Rep. Maxine Waters, as a Democrat challenger 34 years her junior has launched a primary bid against the 86-year-old fixture of the radical left establishment.

Myla Rahman is taking aim at Waters in California's 43rd District, highlighting what she calls a desperate need for "generational change" in a district that has been represented by the same tired, old-guard Democrat for over three decades.

"People are sick of the same old thing," Rahman reportedly told supporters, though she probably didn't mention that Waters has been part of the swamp since before many of her constituents were even born.

Decades of Failed Leadership

Waters, who has served in Congress since 1991, has become the poster child for everything wrong with career politicians. While she's been busy making headlines with unhinged rants against President Trump and calling for supporters to "get more confrontational," her own district has struggled with poverty, crime, and neglect.

The timing couldn't be more perfect. With President Trump back in the White House and Republicans controlling Washington, even Democrats are starting to realize that having an 86-year-old bomb-thrower as their representative might not be the best strategy.

"This primary challenge shows that even Democrats are getting tired of Maxine Waters' decades of failed leadership and divisive rhetoric," said one political observer.

Rahman's challenge represents more than just an age gap - it's a recognition that Waters has become an embarrassment even to her own party. After years of calling for impeachment, promoting conspiracy theories, and engaging in the kind of inflammatory rhetoric that would make a sailor blush, maybe California voters are finally ready for someone who can actually get things done.

Of course, don't expect Waters to go quietly into that good night. She's likely to pull out every dirty trick in the book to hold onto her cushy congressional seat and all the power and perks that come with it.

The real question is: will California Democrats finally wake up and realize they deserve better than a relic from the swamp, or will they stick with the same failed leadership that's been letting them down for decades?

Finally, even Democrats are waking up to the fact that these ancient politicians are out of touch with reality. Maybe this young candidate will bring some actual accountability to that district.

At 86, shouldn't she be enjoying retirement instead of clinging to power? There's something fundamentally wrong with our system when politicians become career fixtures instead of public servants.

She's been collecting that government paycheck longer than most people work their entire careers. Time for fresh blood.

This is what happens when you ignore your constituents for decades. Even her own party is tired of the corruption and incompetence.

I've been watching politics for 40 years and I've never seen someone so consistently divisive get re-elected over and over. Her district deserves better representation than someone who just screams about impeachment all day.

About time! These career politicians have been in office longer than some of their constituents have been alive. Term limits would solve this problem but they'll never vote for that.

Exactly! Waters has been there since 1991 - that's over 30 years of the same failed policies.

Good luck to this challenger! Takes guts to go up against the establishment machine.

Waters is worth millions despite being a 'public servant' her whole career. How does that work exactly?

Great point. Always amazing how these politicians get so wealthy on government salaries...
