Speaking about the ongoing 2026 Milan Cortina Olympics, Vance delivered a blunt message to athletes more interested in virtue signaling than winning medals: "You're not there to pop off about politics."
The VP's comments come as multiple Team USA athletes have embarrassed themselves and their country by spouting woke talking points instead of focusing on athletic excellence. Figure skater Amber Glenn, along with skiers Hunter Hess, Chris Lillis, and Mikaela Shiffrin, have all made statements that patriots across America are calling anti-American and anti-Trump.
"These athletes have the incredible privilege of representing the United States on the world's biggest stage, and instead of showing pride in our great nation, they're using it as an opportunity to push their radical agenda," a senior administration official told reporters.
This isn't the first time we've seen spoiled athletes bite the hand that feeds them. Remember when soccer star Megan Rapinoe turned the World Cup into her personal anti-Trump rally? Or when NBA players kneeled for our flag while praising communist China?
The pattern is clear: these woke athletes enjoy all the benefits of American freedom, training facilities, and taxpayer support, then turn around and trash the very country that made their success possible.
