President Donald Trump is sending a clear message to the world: America is back, and we're sending our best.
The White House announced Tuesday that Education Secretary Linda McMahon will lead a powerhouse Presidential Delegation to Milan, Italy, for the Closing Ceremony of the 2026 Olympic Winter Games on February 22nd. And unlike the lackluster representation we saw during the Biden years, this delegation is stacked with American success stories.
A Delegation That Screams 'America First'
Forget the career bureaucrats and political cronies. President Trump's delegation reads like a who's who of American entrepreneurship and achievement. We're talking about titans of industry like Tilman Fertitta, our Ambassador to Italy and a self-made billionaire who built his hospitality empire from the ground up. Diane Hendricks, the founder of ABC Supply and one of the most successful female entrepreneurs in American history, will also be representing the red, white, and blue.
Small Business Administration head Kelly Loeffler rounds out the business contingent, bringing her pro-growth, anti-regulation credentials to the world stage.
Olympic Glory Represented
And let's not forget Ryan Suter β a two-time Olympic medalist who actually bled for Team USA on the ice in 2010 and 2014. This is what real American representation looks like, folks.
The delegation also includes Senior Advisor Meredith O'Rourke and cultural leader Trish Duggan, founder of the Imagine Museum.
What Leadership Looks Like
This is the Trump difference, Patriots. While the previous administration seemed embarrassed by American excellence, President Trump celebrates it. He's not sending apology tours to international events β he's sending accomplished Americans who've actually built something.
The Milan Winter Games closing ceremony will see the United States represented by people who understand what makes this country great: hard work, entrepreneurship, and competitive spirit.
Isn't it refreshing to have a President who picks winners to represent America on the world stage?
