The fight for Texas's political soul is heating up as four Republican heavyweights prepare to duke it out in the only televised debate for attorney general before the March 3rd primary. With conservative champion Ken Paxton stepping aside to take on establishment darling John Cornyn for U.S. Senate, the race to replace America's most fearless AG has become a conservative litmus test.

BlazeTV's Allie Beth Stuckey will moderate the showdown between current Rep. Chip Roy, State Senator Joan Huffman, Rep. Mayes Middleton, and Aaron Reitz. While the mainstream media ignores this crucial race, patriots know that Texas's next attorney general could be the last line of defense against Biden-era federal overreach and leftist lawfare tactics.

Roy Emerges as Conservative Favorite

Congressman Chip Roy has quickly emerged as the America First candidate in this race, bringing his proven track record of fighting the swamp to Austin. Roy has been a thorn in the side of RINOs and Democrats alike, consistently voting against bloated spending bills and standing firm on border security when it wasn't politically popular.

"Texans need an attorney general who will fight the federal government's assault on our sovereignty, not bow down to Washington bureaucrats," Roy said in a recent campaign statement.

But Roy faces stiff competition from the Texas establishment. Joan Huffman, a longtime state senator, brings legislative experience but questions remain about her willingness to take on federal agencies the way Paxton has. Middleton and Reitz round out the field as relative newcomers promising fresh blood in Austin.

Stakes Couldn't Be Higher

This isn't just another political race – it's about who will stand between Texans and an increasingly tyrannical federal government. Paxton has been the gold standard for state attorneys general, taking on Big Tech censorship, election integrity issues, and federal overreach with unprecedented success.

The debate airs live on BlazeTV, giving conservative viewers the chance to see these candidates without mainstream media spin. Will Roy's congressional experience translate to state-level leadership? Can the establishment candidates prove they'll fight as hard as Paxton did?

Texas patriots deserve answers before they head to the polls. This debate might be their only chance to get them.

Finally! Chip Roy has been one of the few willing to actually fight for conservative principles in Washington. The establishment GOP needs to wake up - we're tired of RINOs who talk tough during campaigns then fold like cheap suits once they're in office.

Couldn't agree more! Roy's voting record speaks for itself - he's been consistent on fiscal responsibility and constitutional issues.

I attended one of Roy's town halls last year and was impressed by his detailed knowledge of policy issues. My question is - does he have enough name recognition statewide to overcome the establishment money advantage? Texas is a big state and TV ads are expensive.

That's why we need to volunteer and spread the word! Social media is free and word of mouth still matters in Texas communities.

Been following Chip Roy since his days with Ted Cruz - the man knows constitutional law inside and out. If we're serious about fighting federal overreach, we need proven fighters, not more of the same establishment types who promise everything and deliver nothing.

This is exactly why we need term limits. The establishment candidates always have these massive war chests from special interests, while the real conservatives have to fight tooth and nail for every dollar.

The timing couldn't be better with everything happening at the border. Roy has been sounding the alarm on immigration and border security for years while the establishment was asleep at the wheel. We need someone who will actually use the full power of the AG office to protect Texas sovereignty.
