Conservative champion Carrie Prejean Boller is standing her ground against what appears to be another establishment Republican power grab, refusing to accept her alleged removal from the Religious Liberties Commission and declaring that only President Trump has the authority to dismiss her.
The former Miss California turned religious freedom warrior dismissed Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick's Wednesday announcement claiming he had removed her from the commission, calling out the Republican establishment figure for overstepping his authority.
"Patrick doesn't have the power to remove me," Prejean Boller reportedly stated, showing the kind of backbone that made her a conservative icon when she courageously defended traditional marriage on the Miss USA stage years ago. "I'll stay unless Trump orders otherwise."
This latest controversy stems from what Patrick described as Prejean Boller "hijacking" a commission hearing – though patriots might ask: was she really hijacking it, or was she actually doing her job of defending religious liberties while others wanted to play politics as usual?
Another RINO Power Play?
The timing of this dust-up raises serious questions about whether establishment Republicans are once again trying to sideline authentic conservative voices who refuse to go along with the swamp's agenda. Prejean Boller has never been one to back down from a fight when religious freedom is on the line.
Remember, this is the same woman who sacrificed a potential Miss USA crown because she had the courage to stand up for biblical marriage when the woke mob demanded she bow to their agenda. Now she's being targeted by someone who's supposed to be on the same team?
President Trump appointed people to these positions because he trusted them to fight for the values that matter to everyday Americans. If Lt. Gov. Patrick has a problem with how she's doing that job, maybe he should take it up with the Commander-in-Chief instead of trying to stage his own little coup.
The real question patriots should be asking: Why are establishment Republicans more interested in silencing conservative voices than in actually defending the religious liberties they claim to support?
