The left's commitment to transgender ideology has reached such fanatical heights that they're now claiming it causes zero harm to anyone – a statement so divorced from reality it would make Captain Ahab blush.
Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.) made the stunning declaration this week that transgender people "hurt absolutely no one," completely ignoring the avalanche of evidence showing the destructive impact of trans activism on women's sports, child safety, and basic biological reality.
This is the same delusion that cost Democrats dearly in 2024, when President Trump rode a wave of common-sense Americans who were fed up with being told that men can become women and that questioning this dogma makes you a bigot.
The Damage Is Real and Growing
Jayapal's fantasy statement ignores the female athletes losing scholarships and championships to biological males. It dismisses the children being pushed into irreversible medical procedures they'll regret for life. It pretends that women losing their safe spaces in bathrooms and locker rooms simply doesn't matter.
"The American people rejected this madness in November, and they'll keep rejecting it as long as Democrats keep pushing it," said one GOP strategist familiar with the polling data.
Under the Trump-Vance administration, we're finally seeing sanity restored. The President has already begun rolling back the Biden regime's destructive gender ideology policies that infected our military, schools, and federal agencies.
But Democrats like Jayapal remain trapped in their woke bubble, convinced that doubling down on failed ideology will somehow win back the Americans they've alienated. Like Ahab chasing his white whale, they're so obsessed with their trans crusade that they can't see it's destroying their own ship.
The question isn't whether trans ideology hurts people – the evidence is overwhelming that it does. The question is how long Democrats will keep lying to themselves about it.
