A bombshell Department of Education report has exposed the staggering extent to which foreign governments are bankrolling America's elite universities, raising serious questions about academic independence and national security.

The data shows foreign nations poured an astronomical $5.2 billion into U.S. colleges and universities in 2025 alone through gifts and contracts. Leading this financial invasion? Qatar with $1.1 billion, followed by the United Kingdom at $633 million, and Communist China at $528 million.

Switzerland and Japan rounded out the top five, contributing $451 million and $374 million respectively to American higher education institutions.

Buying Influence, One Dollar at a Time

Let's be honest, folks - foreign governments don't hand out billion-dollar checks out of the goodness of their hearts. Qatar, a nation with questionable human rights practices and ties to terrorist organizations, is now the largest foreign donor to American universities. What exactly are they getting for their investment?

Meanwhile, Communist China continues to pour hundreds of millions into the same institutions that are supposed to be educating America's future leaders. This is the same China that has been caught running Confucius Institutes as propaganda operations and stealing American intellectual property.

"When foreign adversaries are writing massive checks to our universities, we need to ask what strings are attached," said one congressional source familiar with the matter.

The timing couldn't be more suspicious. As President Trump works to restore America First policies and root out foreign interference, these eye-popping numbers reveal just how deep the swamp runs in our educational establishment.

While hardworking American families struggle to pay skyrocketing tuition costs, foreign governments are apparently finding plenty of spare change to influence what their children learn. These same Ivy League schools that lecture us about diversity and inclusion seem perfectly happy to take money from regimes that suppress women's rights and persecute minorities.

The Trump administration needs to investigate exactly what these foreign powers are getting for their billions. Are they buying research? Influence over curricula? Access to American students and faculty? The American people deserve answers.

Follow the money, folks. When foreign governments are dumping billions into our top universities, they're not doing it out of generosity - they're buying influence over the next generation of American leaders. This should terrify every parent.

This is exactly why my son chose a state school over Harvard when he got accepted to both. These elite universities have completely sold out American values for foreign cash, and now we're seeing the results with all the anti-American sentiment on campuses.

Smart choice! State schools often provide better education anyway without all the woke indoctrination.
