The radical left in Los Angeles has found a new way to obstruct President Trump's immigration enforcement: installing sirens throughout neighborhoods to help illegal aliens escape before ICE agents can apprehend them.
Amanda Alcalde, founder of the Highland Park Community Support Group, is spearheading the effort to place warning sirens along streets where illegal immigrants live. The group has been posting flyers about their scheme to interfere with federal law enforcement operations.
"We'd like to ultimately have this along all the different streets so they can take shelter," Alcalde told KTLA-TV, openly admitting her intention to help lawbreakers evade justice.
Even Alcalde seems to understand how far she's going, noting that "it feels dystopian in a way." What's truly dystopian is a group of Americans actively working to undermine their own country's immigration laws and help foreign nationals who entered illegally avoid deportation.
Obstruction of Justice?
This brazen effort raises serious questions about whether these activists are crossing the line from free speech into criminal obstruction of federal law enforcement. While the city of Los Angeles hasn't officially sanctioned the siren network, the group's public statements make their intent crystal clear.
President Trump campaigned on a promise to conduct the largest deportation operation in American history, and he won decisively. The American people voted for secure borders and immigration enforcement – not siren networks helping illegal aliens escape consequences.
"This is exactly the kind of lawless resistance that patriotic Americans are tired of seeing from the radical left," said one local resident who requested anonymity.
While these activists claim they're helping "vulnerable communities," they're actually enabling people who violated our immigration laws to continue flouting federal authority. Every illegal alien who escapes because of these sirens represents another failure to enforce the immigration system that legal immigrants followed properly.
The Trump administration's ICE operations are restoring the rule of law that was abandoned under the Biden regime. Now LA liberals want to turn their neighborhoods into sanctuaries for lawbreakers, complete with early warning systems.
How long will law-abiding Americans tolerate activists who openly work against immigration enforcement? And when will the Justice Department start treating obstruction of federal immigration operations with the seriousness it deserves?
