While Canadian politicians throw temper tantrums over President Trump's America First trade agenda, at least one conservative voice north of the border is speaking truth to power. Conservative Member of Parliament Jamil Jivani is calling out his own country's self-destructive "anti-American hissy fit" that's hurting Canadian workers and families.

Speaking exclusively on Sirius XM's Breitbart News Saturday, the MP representing Bowmanville-Oshawa didn't mince words about Canada's knee-jerk reaction to Trump's common-sense trade policies. While Liberal Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his cronies engage in virtue signaling and theatrical outrage, Jivani sees the bigger picture – Canada needs America far more than America needs Canada.

"Canadian officials are harming the country with their anti-American hissy fit on trade," Jivani told Breitbart News, delivering a dose of reality his fellow politicians desperately need to hear.

This is exactly what happens when you have actual conservatives in office versus establishment politicians more concerned with looking good at international cocktail parties than fighting for their own people. While Trudeau plays dress-up and lectures the world about "values," Trump is cutting deals that put American workers first – something any rational leader should respect and emulate.

Canada's Self-Inflicted Wounds

Jivani's refreshing honesty highlights a critical truth the mainstream media won't tell you: Canada's economy is deeply intertwined with America's success. When Canadian politicians throw public fits about Trump's tariffs and trade negotiations, they're essentially biting the hand that feeds them.

President Trump's trade policies aren't about hurting our neighbors – they're about ensuring fair deals that benefit American workers after decades of being taken advantage of by foreign competitors. Any Canadian politician with half a brain would recognize this and work constructively with the Trump administration instead of staging political theater.

Patriots should take note: this is what happens when you elect leaders who actually understand economics versus those who think governing is just an extended university seminar on feelings. While Canada shoots itself in the foot with anti-American posturing, Trump continues delivering wins for the American people.

How long will it take for other world leaders to realize that working WITH Trump's America First agenda – rather than against it – is the path to prosperity for their own citizens?

Which Conservative MP said this? I want to make sure I support them in the next election because we need more truth-tellers like this.

I work in agriculture and see firsthand how our farmers suffer when we pick fights with our biggest customer. This anti-American posturing needs to stop before it destroys more livelihoods.

Finally, someone with the backbone to tell it like it is! We need more politicians willing to call out Trudeau's virtue signaling instead of just going along with it.

Exactly! The anti-American rhetoric from Ottawa is embarrassing and hurting our economy.

This MP gets it - the US is our biggest trading partner and we're acting like petulant children. My business has lost contracts because of this trade uncertainty.

About time! The Americans are pragmatic negotiators, not our enemies.

This is why I vote Conservative - we need adults in the room who understand economics over emotions. Trudeau's trade tantrums are costing us jobs and opportunities.
