Tennessee Senator Bill Hagerty just delivered a knockout punch to Democrats, exposing the REAL reason they're fighting tooth and nail against common-sense voter ID laws that an overwhelming majority of Americans support.
Speaking on Fox Business' "Sunday Morning Futures," Hagerty didn't mince words when he connected the dots between the Biden administration's border catastrophe and Democrat opposition to election security measures.
"It's no coincidence that the same party that opened our borders to millions of illegal aliens is the same party desperately fighting against voter ID requirements," Hagerty stated. "They know exactly what they're doing."
The numbers don't lie, Patriots. Poll after poll shows that roughly 80% of Americans - including a majority of Democrats - support requiring photo ID to vote. It's basic common sense. You need an ID to buy beer, board a plane, or enter a government building, but Democrats think requiring one to vote is somehow "voter suppression."
The Biden Border Disaster Connection
Under the Trump-Vance administration, we're finally seeing the full scope of Biden's immigration disaster. Millions of illegal aliens flooded across our borders during the four-year Biden regime, and now Democrats are panicking about losing their grip on power.
Hagerty's comments come as Republicans push forward with the Safeguarding American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act, which would require proof of citizenship to register to vote and mandate voter ID for federal elections. It's legislation that should be a no-brainer, but watch Democrats fight it like their political lives depend on it - because they do.
"When you have a party that refuses to secure elections while simultaneously refusing to secure borders, you have to ask yourself what their real agenda is," Hagerty pointed out.
This is exactly the kind of America First leadership we need more of in Washington. While RINOs worry about what the Washington Post might say about them, fighters like Hagerty are calling out the left's election integrity scam for what it really is.
The question every American should be asking is simple: If Democrats have nothing to hide, why are they so terrified of basic election security measures that the vast majority of voters support?
