Let that sink in, Patriots. They're holding FEMA hostage during disaster season. They're forcing TSA agents to work without paychecks during one of the busiest travel weeks of the year. They're disrupting Coast Guard operations. All to protect illegal immigrants from ICE enforcement.
The Outrageous Democrat Demands
What exactly are Democrats demanding in exchange for funding the agency that keeps American families safe? Their wish list reads like an open-borders manifesto:
They want judicial warrants required just to enter homes during immigration operations—a bureaucratic nightmare designed to make enforcement virtually impossible. They want ICE agents unmasked so leftist mobs can dox them and show up at their children's schools and churches. They want body cameras and visible ID numbers on every agent.
As Majority Whip Tom Emmer put it perfectly: "They want law enforcement agents to show ID when they don't want voters to show ID. There's no common sense here."
He's absolutely right. There isn't. There's only raw political calculation.
The Numbers Democrats Don't Want You to See
While Democrats play their shutdown games, Border Czar Tom Homan has been delivering receipts that nobody can deny. In Minnesota alone—a former sanctuary state stronghold—ICE operations resulted in over 4,000 arrests, including:
14 illegal aliens charged with homicide.
87 sexual offenses—mostly against children.
And here's a number that should make every American's blood boil: The Biden administration lost track of 300,000 children who were smuggled across the border and released to unvetted sponsors. President Trump's administration has already located 145,000 of them.
In Memphis, Tennessee, crime dropped a staggering 84 percent in just two weeks after federal agents moved in. That's not a typo. Eighty-four percent.
Even Hillary Clinton Gets It
When even Hillary Clinton admits that mass migration "went too far" and has been "disruptive and destabilizing," you know the Democrat position has become indefensible. Yet her own party continues doubling down on obstruction.
"If ICE were run by bunnies and Bambi, the Democrats would still say ICE is cruel," noted commentator Ari Fleischer. "Because they don't oppose the people who run ICE—they oppose ICE's mission."

As Homan stated clearly: "We have the most secure border in the history of the nation. We've got record numbers of arrests and deportations. That will continue."
The mask is completely off now, folks. Democrats aren't the resistance—they're the obstruction. While President Trump delivers historic border security wins, they're throwing tantrums that hurt working American families.
This is exactly why Americans rejected their open-borders agenda in 2024. And it's exactly why they'll reject it again in 2026.
