A Massachusetts Democrat just handed President Trump a massive foreign policy validation, admitting that now is the "ideal" time to authorize military strikes against Iran's nuclear and ballistic missile programs.
Rep. Jake Auchincloss (D-MA) appeared on CNN's "AC360" Thursday night, calling for Congress to pass an Authorization for Use of Military Force (AUMF) targeting Iran's most dangerous capabilities. His reasoning? Iran has been severely weakened by Israeli strikes and can no longer control its own airspace above 10,000 feet.
"Iran is not in control of the skies, because of the Israeli strikes last year, anything above 10,000 feet, Iran really has no domain awareness and no ability," Auchincloss admitted on national television.
This is the same Iran that Democrats spent four years defending during the Biden administration's disastrous appeasement policies. Remember when they criticized Trump for taking out terrorist leader Qasem Soleimani? Now they're suddenly hawks when it's politically convenient.
"Iran really has no domain awareness and no ability" above 10,000 feet, Auchincloss conceded, essentially admitting the terror regime is a paper tiger.
What's particularly rich is that Auchincloss is calling for the exact type of decisive action against Iran that Trump has been advocating for years. The former and current president consistently warned that Iran's nuclear ambitions posed an existential threat to American allies and global stability.
Under Biden's weak leadership, Iran was emboldened to fund terror proxies across the Middle East, attack American bases, and accelerate their nuclear program. Now that Trump is back in office with his "peace through strength" doctrine, even Democrats are admitting military action might be necessary.
Trump's Iran Strategy Vindicated
This admission comes at a perfect time for the Trump-Vance administration, which has made confronting Iran's nuclear ambitions a top priority. With Marco Rubio as Secretary of State and Pete Hegseth at Defense, America finally has leaders who understand that appeasing terrorists only invites more aggression.
Patriots should ask themselves: If Iran is really this vulnerable right now, why didn't the Biden administration act when they had the chance? The answer is simple - they were too busy sending pallets of cash to Tehran instead of defending American interests.
Will Congress finally give Trump the tools he needs to neutralize the Iranian threat once and for all?
