A bombshell accusation has rocked Mexico as a sitting senator went on live television to call her own president a puppet of the drug cartels, declaring that Mexico is becoming "the next Venezuela" where "the government finances the cartels and the cartels finance the government."

The explosive revelation comes as Puerto Vallarta and Guadalajara have descended into chaos following a Mexican military operation that killed Jalisco New Generation Cartel leader Nemesio Oseguera, known as "El Mencho" - the most wanted man alive with a $15 million bounty on his head.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed the United States provided intelligence support for the operation that eliminated the terrorist organization leader who controlled major fentanyl and methamphetamine routes flooding American communities with deadly drugs.

Cartel War Traps American Tourists

The cartel's revenge has turned vacation destinations into active war zones. Over 250 roadblocks now choke Jalisco state. Banks burn in Guadalajara while looters ransack the city. Highways are littered with torched vehicles as black smoke rises over resort areas packed with American families.

Major airlines including American, United, Southwest, WestJet and Air Canada have suspended all flights. The U.S. Embassy issued shelter-in-place warnings across multiple Mexican states as tourists film chilling footage from hotel windows, watching their paradise vacation turn into a nightmare.

Canadian tourists reported being trapped in condos just 25 minutes from Puerto Vallarta, describing a city on fire with "no way out." Military personnel in full combat gear are engaging cartel fighters in areas where families came to relax on the beach.

"This is the man Trump classified as a terrorist organization leader. This is who Democrats allowed to operate while the border stood wide open,"

Every fentanyl death in America traces back to networks like El Mencho's operation, which included mass killings and an extermination ranch with underground crematorium ovens. For four years, the Biden regime allowed these murderous cartels to operate freely across our wide-open southern border.

Now Americans are paying the price - both at home from deadly drugs and abroad as their vacation destinations become battlegrounds. The corporate media won't connect these dots because they don't want you understanding how Democratic border policies empowered the very cartels now holding tourists hostage.

How many more Americans must die before we recognize that Mexico's cartel problem is America's national security crisis?

We cancelled our Cancun vacation last month after hearing about the violence. It's heartbreaking what's happened to these once-beautiful destinations.

Agreed! This has been going on for years and nobody wants to admit it.

My travel agent has been steering clients away from Mexico for months now. The tourism industry there is going to collapse if they don't get this under control.

Tourism is one of their biggest revenue sources too. Economic disaster incoming.

The cartels have more power than the government at this point. Mexico needs serious reform from the ground up.

How does this affect border security on our side? If their government is compromised, we need to be extra vigilant about who's crossing.

Exactly my concern too. We can't rely on Mexico to help secure the border if this is true.
