While President Trump works to secure our borders and launch the largest deportation operation in American history, Tennessee is stepping up to protect American taxpayers from another massive drain on resources: illegal aliens flooding into public schools.

State lawmakers have introduced companion bills SB 836 and HB 793 that would authorize Tennessee public schools to refuse enrollment to students who are unlawfully present in the United States. It's about time someone had the backbone to put American children first!

For decades, hardworking American families have watched their tax dollars stretched thin as schools are forced to accommodate endless waves of illegal immigrants. Class sizes balloon, resources get diverted, and American kids suffer while politicians virtue signal about "inclusion."

Finally, Common Sense Legislation

This isn't rocket science, folks. Why should American taxpayers be forced to subsidize education for people who broke the law to get here? While parents struggle to get their own children the attention and resources they need, schools are overwhelmed trying to educate students who shouldn't be in the country at all.

The timing couldn't be better. With Trump back in the White House and his administration cracking down on illegal immigration, Tennessee is showing other red states how to protect their citizens at the local level. This is exactly the kind of America First policy that voters demanded in 2024.

"We need to prioritize American children in American schools," one Tennessee parent told local media. "It's not complicated - legal residents first."

Of course, you can bet the radical left and their allies in the mainstream media will scream about this common-sense legislation. They'll claim it's "heartless" or "discriminatory" - the same tired playbook they always use when Americans dare to put their own citizens first.

Setting the Standard

Tennessee could be setting the standard for the entire nation. Imagine if every state had the courage to pass similar legislation - we'd finally see real accountability and protection for American taxpayers.

This is what winning looks like under the Trump-Vance administration. Federal enforcement, state-level support, and politicians who actually represent the people who elected them instead of pandering to illegal aliens.

Will your state have the backbone to follow Tennessee's lead? It's time to find out where your representatives really stand on putting America First.

My granddaughter's class has 32 kids in it already. How are teachers supposed to give individual attention when they're overwhelmed?

Does anyone know what specific measures they're implementing? I'd like to share the details with my school board here in Georgia.

Every state needs to follow Tennessee's lead on this. We have to protect our communities and our schools' ability to serve legal residents properly.

Exactly right! My property taxes keep going up to fund programs that should be helping legal residents.

About time Tennessee took action on this. Other states need to follow suit.

As an educator, I've seen firsthand how overcrowded classrooms hurt ALL students. We can barely afford supplies for the kids we have now. How is this supposed to work with unlimited enrollment?

Thank you for speaking up! Teachers need to be heard on this issue more often.

The math is simple - more students without more funding equals worse education for everyone. This isn't about compassion, it's about reality.

This! People act like opposing this makes you heartless, but what's heartless is failing all the kids because you're spread too thin.
