Virginia Democrats are once again proving they'll stop at nothing to rig the system in their favor, pushing forward with a controversial gerrymander scheme despite a majority of commonwealth residents telling them to back off.
According to a bombshell Roanoke College survey conducted from February 9-16, a decisive 52 percent of Virginians oppose the Democrats' brazen attempt to redraw congressional districts to benefit their party. But here's the million-dollar question: Will the Republican Party actually get organized enough to turn this public opposition into electoral victory?
This is exactly the kind of swamp behavior that President Trump has been fighting against for years. While Trump's second administration works tirelessly to drain the Deep State in Washington, Virginia Democrats are busy trying to create their own little fiefdom by manipulating district lines to guarantee themselves power regardless of what voters actually want.
The Numbers Don't Lie
The poll results should be a wake-up call for every patriot in Virginia. When a clear majority of residents - including independents and even some Democrats - can see through this transparent power grab, you know the party has gone too far left.
But polling numbers mean absolutely nothing if Republicans can't translate that opposition into actual votes. The GOP has a golden opportunity here to mobilize grassroots conservatives, independents, and even disaffected Democrats who are sick of watching their party play these corrupt games.
"This is about fundamental fairness and letting the people choose their representatives, not the other way around," said one Virginia GOP strategist.
The Democrats' gerrymander attempt fits perfectly into their national pattern of behavior: when they can't win on ideas, they change the rules. From packing the Supreme Court to eliminating the Electoral College, the radical left consistently shows they care more about power than democracy.
Virginia Republicans now have their marching orders. The people are with them - they just need to get those people to the polls. Will they seize this moment, or will they let the Democrats steal another victory through backroom dealing and voter apathy?
