El Mencho is dead, and Mexico has exploded into chaos. Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, the brutal leader of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel, was eliminated in an operation that the White House confirms would never have happened without President Trump's direct leadership.

What followed was immediate and terrifying revenge from cartel forces across multiple Mexican states. Twenty-five Mexican National Guard troops were killed in retaliatory strikes. Vehicles burned on highways. Entire city blocks in Guadalajara are engulfed in flames, visible from drone footage that shows the devastating scope of cartel fury.

Thousands of American citizens found themselves trapped as airports shut down and roads were blocked by warring cartel factions. The State Department's crisis hotlines were overwhelmed within hours as desperate Americans called from resort towns, unable to reach safety.

Trump's War Declaration Pays Off

This historic victory happened because President Trump did what Biden never would – he designated cartels as foreign terrorist organizations on day one. He authorized lethal action against drug boats. He pressured Mexico to act. And when they finally moved, America got results.

Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt delivered a chilling warning that should make every cartel leader lose sleep:

"Mexican drug cartels know not to lay a finger on a single American or they will pay severe consequences under this president."

That's not diplomatic language, Patriots. That's a promise backed by the full weight of American power.

Private veteran-led rescue organizations like Gray Bull Rescues mobilized immediately, deploying helicopters and armored vehicles to extract stranded Americans. Chairman Brian Stern, whose team has conducted over 800 missions worldwide, described the cartels as a sophisticated paramilitary force operating with armored personnel carriers and RPGs.

Senator Bernie Moreno publicly called for U.S. military assistance, stating cartels pose "a clear and present danger that must be exterminated." With roughly 20% of Mexican territory under organized crime control and over 120,000 people disappeared, the scope of cartel power is staggering.

The contrast couldn't be sharper – Biden's appeasement versus Trump's action. Americans are coming home because this president refuses to negotiate with terrorists. How many more cartel leaders will fall before they learn that America First means business?

FINALLY! This is what happens when we have a president who isn't afraid to take the gloves off. The cartels have been terrorizing innocent people for too long.

Absolutely right Mike. About time someone had the backbone to go after these animals.

Does anyone know if this operation involved Mexican government cooperation or was it purely a U.S. effort? Either way, this is huge for reducing fentanyl flowing into our communities.

I live 20 miles from the Mexican border and let me tell you, we've been dealing with cartel spillover for years. My ranch has been used as a drug corridor and local law enforcement told us there wasn't much they could do about El Mencho's network.

Stay safe out there. Hopefully this sends a message to the rest of them.

El Mencho was responsible for thousands of deaths and poisoning our kids with fentanyl. Good riddance to this monster - now let's go after the rest of the CJNG leadership.
