A bombshell new poll shows that Virginians are overwhelmingly rejecting the gun-grabbing agenda being pushed by Democrat lawmakers who are no longer kept in check by former Governor Glenn Youngkin's vetoes. Without Republican guardrails, these anti-freedom extremists are moving full speed ahead with legislation that would gut constitutional rights.
The Democrat wish list reads like a Bloomberg-funded nightmare: a complete ban on so-called "assault firearms" and magazines holding over 10 rounds, mandatory five-day waiting periods for ALL firearm purchases, and an outrageous 11% tax designed to price ordinary Virginians out of their constitutional rights.

The waiting period scheme is particularly insidious. What happens when a woman being stalked needs protection immediately? What about rural Virginians who rely on firearms for protection when police are 30 minutes away? Democrats don't care – ideology trumps safety every time.

The 11% tax proposal exposes the true elitist nature of the Democrat agenda. Constitutional rights shouldn't come with a luxury tax, but Democrats apparently believe only the wealthy deserve to exercise their Second Amendment freedoms.

This polling data proves what patriots across Virginia already know: the Democrat legislature is completely out of step with the people they claim to represent. Virginians didn't vote for a radical transformation of their constitutional rights.
