EXPOSED: GOP Senators RUSH to War But Drag Feet on SAVE Act Election Integrity

If you want to see how broken Washington's priorities really are, just watch how fast GOP senators line up behind military action compared to their glacial pace on protecting American elections. While these same Republicans are practically racing to the microphones to support strikes against Iran, the SAVE America Act – legislation that would actually secure our democracy – sits gathering dust.

The hypocrisy is staggering, Patriots. These senators will drop everything to authorize another military adventure halfway around the world, but ask them to pass a simple bill requiring proof of citizenship to vote in federal elections? Suddenly they're "studying the issue" and "reviewing the language."

War Hawks vs. Election Security

The SAVE Act isn't complicated – it closes the loophole that allows non-citizens to vote in federal elections by requiring documentary proof of citizenship. This should be common sense legislation that every American supports. Yet somehow, it's treated like a controversial proposal while bombing Iran gets bipartisan enthusiasm.

"If GOP senators pushed the SAVE America Act with the same urgency and full-throated support with which they've backed the decision to strike Iran, it would already be law," notes The Federalist.

Think about what this tells us about Washington's priorities. Protecting the integrity of American elections? That's apparently too divisive. But launching missiles at foreign countries? Now THAT'S something they can all get behind!

America First Means Elections First

President Trump campaigned on putting America First, and that means securing our elections before we worry about policing the world. Every day the SAVE Act sits in limbo is another day foreign nationals could potentially influence American elections – the very interference these same senators claim to be so concerned about.

The American people deserve senators who fight as hard for election integrity as they do for military interventions. We need representatives who understand that securing the ballot box is just as important as securing foreign borders.

It's time for GOP senators to show the same urgency for protecting American democracy that they show for protecting foreign interests. The SAVE Act should be law – not a legislative afterthought.

This is EXACTLY what's wrong with the GOP establishment! They'll send our kids overseas in a heartbeat but won't lift a finger to secure our own elections. We need representatives who put America FIRST!

Couldn't agree more. I served two tours and came home to see our elections being a complete mess. Priorities are completely backwards.

The contrast couldn't be more stark. They'll fast-track billions for foreign wars but drag their feet on basic election integrity measures that 80% of Americans support. Time to clean house in the primaries.

RINO alert! 🚨 These establishment Republicans care more about their defense contractor donors than protecting our democracy.

Can someone explain why the SAVE Act is taking so long? Seems like common sense legislation to me - require proof of citizenship to vote.

Because RINOs don't actually want election integrity. They're comfortable with the status quo even if it means losing.

I've been watching this play out in my own state and it's infuriating. Our senator talks tough about foreign threats but won't even show up to vote on election security measures. Primary season can't come soon enough!
