Just weeks into President Trump's second term, a so-called Republican governor is already stabbing the America First movement in the back. Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt is openly advocating for states to import foreign migrants to fill construction and Boeing manufacturing jobs – jobs that should be going to American citizens first.
According to reports, Stitt wants states to have the power to provide work permits to migrants, completely ignoring the devastating impact this would have on American workers and wage growth. This is exactly the kind of globalist, Chamber of Commerce thinking that President Trump was elected to destroy.
While Trump is working around the clock to secure our border and launch the largest deportation operation in American history, Governor Stitt is essentially rolling out the welcome mat for more cheap foreign labor. What happened to putting America First?
This isn't just bad policy – it's a complete betrayal of the working-class Americans who voted Republican expecting their government to fight FOR them, not against them. Construction workers and manufacturing employees in Oklahoma are already dealing with stagnant wages and job competition. The last thing they need is their own Republican governor importing more workers to undercut their paychecks.
"Whatever the inevitable damage to citizens and workplace investment," as one report noted, Stitt seems perfectly willing to sacrifice American workers on the altar of corporate profits.
This is classic RINO behavior – talking conservative during election season, then caving to big business donors the moment they take office. Boeing and construction companies want cheap labor, and apparently Governor Stitt is happy to deliver it, even if it means betraying his own voters.
Patriots in Oklahoma need to ask themselves: Is this the leadership they voted for? A governor who puts corporate profits over American workers? President Trump didn't win a landslide victory so Republican governors could continue the same failed immigration policies that hurt working families.
It's time for Governor Stitt to choose a side. Either he stands with President Trump and the America First agenda, or he stands with the globalist establishment that wants to flood our job market with cheap foreign labor. He can't have it both ways.
