While Iran continues its relentless campaign of terror against Israel and threatens American interests across the Middle East, the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has found something to worry about: Iranian monuments.
In a Monday post on social media, UNESCO expressed concern about potential damage to Iranian heritage sites during ongoing military operations, citing dangers to UNESCO World Heritage sites amid "escalating violence in the Middle East."
Let that sink in, Patriots. The same UN organization that routinely ignores or downplays attacks on Jewish historical sites is now rushing to defend the cultural heritage of a regime that chants "Death to America" and "Death to Israel" while funding terrorist organizations across the globe.
The Real Threat to Heritage
Where was UNESCO's urgent concern when Iran's proxy terrorists in Hamas desecrated Israeli communities on October 7th? Where were their passionate pleas when Hezbollah rockets targeted Israeli cities with thousands of years of Jewish history?
This is exactly the kind of backwards priority system that President Trump warned Americans about during his campaign. While the Iranian regime actively works to wipe Israel off the map and threatens American personnel throughout the region, international organizations like UNESCO focus on protecting the monuments of our enemies.
"The UN continues to show its true colors - defending those who seek to destroy Western civilization while condemning those who defend it,"
Iran has spent decades using its "cultural sites" as cover for military operations, hiding weapons and command centers among civilian infrastructure. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has turned the entire country into a military staging ground for regional terror operations.
America First Means Priorities First
Under President Trump's America First doctrine, we're seeing a clear-eyed approach to these international conflicts. No more apologizing for defending our allies or protecting American interests because some UN bureaucrats are worried about buildings in terrorist-sponsoring nations.
The Trump-Vance administration has made it crystal clear: we stand with Israel, and we won't be lectured by globalist organizations about cultural sensitivity toward regimes that actively plot America's destruction.
Perhaps UNESCO should spend less time protecting the heritage of terrorist states and more time defending the heritage of actual democracies. But then again, that would require them to actually care about freedom and human rights instead of virtue signaling.
