Here's a question every American should be asking: When 71% of the country supports a bill — including half of registered Democrats — and politicians still refuse to pass it, whose interests are they really serving?
President Donald Trump is once again calling out the Radical Left's obstruction of the SAVE America Act, and fresh polling data makes their position look more indefensible than ever. The numbers don't lie, folks, and they're absolutely devastating for Democrats clinging to their tired talking points about "voter suppression."
The Numbers Democrats Don't Want You to See
A new Harvard-Harris poll dropped this week, and the results should send shockwaves through every Democrat strategist's office in Washington. A whopping 71% of Americans support the SAVE America Act — President Trump's straightforward legislation to ensure only American citizens cast ballots in American elections. Revolutionary concept, right?
But here's where it gets really interesting: 69% of independents back the bill, and — pay attention here — half of rank-and-file Democrats support it too. That's right. The Democrat base is abandoning their own party's ridiculous position on this issue.
The breakdown is even more stunning when you look at specific provisions:
- 81% favor requiring voter ID — including 79% of independents and 70% of Democrats
- 80% want states to purge non-citizens from voter rolls
- 75% support proof of citizenship to vote
- 85% agree only U.S. citizens should vote — including 82% of Democrats
Read that last number again. Eighty-five percent. This isn't a partisan issue among everyday Americans. It's only partisan among the political elites who benefit from the chaos.
A Mountain of Evidence Democrats Can't Ignore
This isn't just one poll, Patriots. The data is consistent across every major polling outfit in the country.
Pew Research Center found 83% of Americans favor voter ID requirements — with wide majorities among Democrats, independents, Whites, Blacks, and Latinos. Gallup clocked it at 84% support, with a remarkable 67% of Democrats on board. Even Rasmussen shows support has been increasing over the past decade, not decreasing as the legacy media would have you believe.
Heritage Action's battleground state polling? Strong majorities across the board.
So we have to ask the obvious question: If this legislation is so popular with Americans of all political stripes, why are Democrat politicians in Washington fighting it tooth and nail?
The Real Reason for Democrat Obstruction
President Trump has been sounding the alarm on election integrity since before 2020, and the establishment has mocked him at every turn. But Americans aren't buying what the Radical Left is selling anymore.
Fifty-eight percent of voters recognize that at least some voter fraud exists in U.S. elections. They're not crazy. They're not "election deniers." They're Americans who can see what's happening with their own eyes — and they want their leaders to do something about it.
The SAVE America Act is that something. It's not complicated. It's not extreme. As 60% of Americans correctly identified, it's simply "a commonsense way to stop fraud and protect the security of our elections."
Yet Democrat politicians — increasingly out of step with their own voters — continue to block it. Makes you wonder what they're really protecting, doesn't it?
Time for Congress to Act
President Trump isn't backing down. His renewed call for Congress to pass the SAVE America Act reflects what the American people have been demanding for years: secure elections where every legal vote counts and every illegal vote is stopped.
The Biden years gave us open borders, runaway inflation, and an administration that actively fought against election security measures. The Trump-Vance administration is cleaning up that mess, but they need Congress to do its job.
The polling is overwhelming. The mandate is clear. The only thing standing in the way is a Radical Left Democrat caucus that apparently believes they know better than 71% of the American people.
Contact your representatives, Patriots. Ask them a simple question: Are you with the 71%, or are you with the DC swamp?
