In a stunning display of partisan hypocrisy, 53 House Democrats voted against reaffirming Iran's designation as the world's leading state sponsor of terrorism — just three years after Congress nearly unanimously passed an identical resolution under Joe Biden.

The glaring flip-flop exposes what Patriots have known all along: Democrats don't actually care about national security or fighting terrorism. They care about opposing Trump, even if it means coddling the Iranian regime that chants "Death to America" and funds Hamas terrorists.

Back in January 2023, with Biden safely in the White House, House Democrats had no problem joining Republicans to condemn Tehran's terror activities. But now that President Trump is back in office and taking a strong stance against Iran's aggression, suddenly these same Democrats have developed amnesia about Iran's crimes.

Social Media Erupts Over Democrat Hypocrisy

Americans are taking notice of this blatant double standard. Social media user @YaPortlandamber called out four specific Democrats, asking "How much does it take to surrender your principles? How much? SAD!" — highlighting the shameful capitulation to partisan politics over American security.

"Funny, Democrats protested, stormed the streets demanding the Epstein files be released. Congress voted to cover up sexual harassment within Congress. No Democrat protests. Oh, that's right. The Democrats did not tell their sheep to protest and pay them,"

wrote @jalbert_wayne, pointing out the selective outrage that defines modern Democrat politics.

Meanwhile, @jackgoesvirtual noted the complex dynamics at play, referencing how some Republicans are also pushing back on war powers measures, showing that principled conservatives want congressional oversight of military action — unlike Democrats who simply oppose whatever Trump supports.

Iran Didn't Change — Democrats Did

Let's be crystal clear: Iran's terrorist activities haven't decreased since 2023. If anything, they've ramped up their support for Hamas, Hezbollah, and other proxy groups wreaking havoc across the Middle East. The only thing that changed was the occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

This isn't about foreign policy — it's about Trump Derangement Syndrome reaching dangerous new heights. When opposing Trump becomes more important than opposing terrorism, Democrats have lost all moral authority on national security issues.

How can any American trust these Democrats to protect our homeland when they won't even acknowledge our enemies?

Wait, so they were previously AGAINST labeling Iran as a terror sponsor? Can someone explain how that even makes sense given Iran's track record with Hezbollah and Hamas?

It never made sense. Iran has been funding terrorist groups for decades. This was pure partisan obstruction.

This is exactly why we can't trust Democrats with national security. They'll flip-flop on anything the moment it becomes politically convenient for them.

Couldn't agree more. I served two tours overseas and this kind of political games-playing with our safety is infuriating.

53 Democrats suddenly grew a spine? More like 53 Democrats realized they might actually face consequences under Trump's leadership. Amazing how quickly they change their tune when there's real accountability.

My nephew is stationed in the Gulf region and he's told me stories about Iranian threats to our ships. These politicians need to stop playing games with our troops' lives.
