Wahls, who claims to believe in "old Democratic values" and wants to "secure the border," held a campaign event Saturday at a bookstore that openly sells "ABOLISH ICE" merchandise. Because nothing says "border security" quite like shopping for anti-ICE swag, right Patriots?
The National Republican Senatorial Committee was quick to call out this blatant hypocrisy, with Iowa Media Wire reporting on social media: "NRSC: Zach Wahls to host event at radical progressive bookstore." The post highlights how Wahls is trying to play both sides of the immigration debate – a classic move from the Democrat playbook.
This is exactly the kind of two-faced politics that Americans are sick and tired of. Wahls knows that Iowa voters want secure borders and strong immigration enforcement, especially after witnessing the chaos of the Biden border crisis. So he puts on his moderate mask and talks about "old Democratic values."
But when it comes time to actually campaign and raise money, where does he go? Straight to the radical left-wing activists who want to eliminate ICE entirely and throw our borders wide open to anyone who wants to walk across.

Make no mistake – this isn't an accident or poor vetting by his campaign staff. This is Wahls showing his true colors to the activist base that will fund and organize his campaign. He knows exactly what that bookstore represents and what message those "ABOLISH ICE" products send.
