EXPOSED: New York Democrats Push SWEEPING Censorship of AI Chatbots in Authoritarian Power Grab

New York Democrats are at it again, folks – this time targeting artificial intelligence with a sweeping censorship bill that would effectively ban AI chatbots from providing information on law, medicine, psychology, and over a dozen other professions. The legislation, backed by allies of progressive state senator Zohran Mamdani, represents another authoritarian attempt by the left to control what information Americans can access.

The proposed bill would prohibit chatbots from giving "substantive responses," information, or advice in fields requiring professional licenses, claiming AI programs are "impersonating certain licensed professionals." But here's the kicker – the legislation would allow users to bring civil action against chatbot providers, creating a legal minefield that could shut down AI services entirely.

This is classic Democrat overreach disguised as consumer protection. While millions of Americans use AI tools daily to get quick answers about health questions, legal procedures, and mental health resources, New York's progressive politicians want to slam the door shut and force citizens to rely solely on expensive professionals – many of whom donate heavily to Democratic campaigns.

"New bill against insider trading on prediction markets just introduced. Senators Jeff Merkley and Amy Klobuchar introduced the 'End Prediction Market Corruption Act'," reported @KnightShift on social media, highlighting yet another simultaneous Democrat effort to restrict market freedoms.

The timing is no coincidence. As President Trump's second-term agenda emphasizes deregulation and government efficiency through Elon Musk's DOGE initiative, Democrats are desperately trying to expand government control wherever they still hold power. New York's AI censorship bill represents exactly the kind of regulatory stranglehold that Trump voters rejected in 2024.

What's particularly galling is the hypocrisy. The same Democrats who screamed about "misinformation" when conservatives questioned COVID lockdowns now want to prevent Americans from accessing AI-generated information that could help them make informed decisions about their own lives.

Patriots should recognize this for what it really is: an attempt to maintain the professional gatekeeping system that enriches Democrat-aligned industries while keeping ordinary Americans dependent on expensive services. Will Republicans in New York have the backbone to stop this authoritarian overreach before it spreads nationwide?

So glad I left New York 3 years ago. The authoritarian overreach there just keeps getting worse.

Same here! Moved to Florida and never looking back. Let NY destroy itself.

This is exactly what the Founding Fathers warned us about. Democrats will use ANY excuse to silence opposing viewpoints, even if it means regulating technology itself.

100% agree Mike. First they came for social media, now they're coming for AI. Where does it end?

Does anyone know if there are legal challenges being filed against this? We need to fight this in court before it spreads to other blue states.

I've been using ChatGPT for work research and already noticed it leans heavily liberal on political topics. Now they want to make that bias MANDATORY? Unbelievable.

Typical Democrat playbook - create a crisis, then swoop in with government 'solutions' that just happen to give them more control.
