BROKEN: San Francisco Mayor's Security ATTACKED As He Finally Admits City is 'Broken' and Needs 'Reset'

The devastating reality of Democrat-run San Francisco hit home hard Thursday when Mayor Daniel Lurie's own security team was attacked in the notorious Tenderloin district—just hours before the mayor finally admitted what conservatives have been saying for years: the city is utterly "broken."

Two suspects assaulted members of Lurie's security detail Thursday evening in what has become a symbol of the city's complete collapse under decades of radical left policies. The irony couldn't be more perfect—here's a Democrat mayor who needs armed protection just to walk through his own city, finally forced to confront the monster his party created.

"We are grateful that the officers assigned to the mayor's security detail acted swiftly and courageously to protect him in a dangerous and unpredictable situation," San Francisco Police said, essentially admitting their own city has become a war zone.

"The city needs a reset," Lurie declared, as if this disaster just happened overnight instead of being the predictable result of progressive policies that have turned America's once-beautiful cities into dystopian nightmares.

This is what happens when Democrats prioritize criminals over law-abiding citizens. The Tenderloin has become synonymous with open drug use, homeless encampments, and violent crime—a testament to the left's "compassionate" approach that shows more concern for drug dealers and criminals than for families and small businesses.

While Lurie talks about needing a "reset," patriots know what San Francisco really needs: a complete rejection of the failed progressive experiment. The same policies that created this mess in San Francisco are what Democrats wanted to spread nationwide before Trump's victory saved America from Biden's radical agenda.

How many more mayors will need armed security details in their own cities before Democrats admit their soft-on-crime, defund-the-police policies have been an absolute disaster? And how long before other Democrat-run cities follow San Francisco's lead into complete chaos?

I run a small business in the Bay Area and have watched SF deteriorate firsthand. When even the mayor admits the city needs a 'reset,' you know things are really bad. What specific steps is he actually going to take though?

This is what happens when you defund police and coddle criminals for years. The chickens have come home to roost!

About time someone in SF leadership finally admits what the rest of us have been saying for years! The city has been circling the drain with their failed progressive policies. Violence against his security just proves how bad it's gotten.

The irony is that his own policies probably contributed to the lawlessness that led to this attack on his security team.

Exactly! My family used to love visiting SF for weekends, but we stopped going about 3 years ago because it became too dangerous and dirty.
