Speaking on Bloomberg's "Balance of Power," the disgraced former DNC chair who was forced to resign over rigging the 2016 primary against Bernie Sanders showed her true colors once again. While acknowledging serious national security threats, Wasserman Schultz is apparently more concerned with handcuffing immigration enforcement than protecting American families.
This is the same broken thinking that got us into this mess in the first place. For four years under the Biden regime, Democrats systematically dismantled border security, created sanctuary cities that harbor criminal aliens, and turned ICE agents into glorified social workers. Now that President Trump is back in office and working to secure our homeland, Democrats are literally holding national security hostage to protect their open borders agenda.
Democrats Choose Politics Over Protection

Wasserman Schultz admits we face "deeply concerning" terrorism risks, yet she's demanding concessions that would weaken the very agency responsible for removing dangerous criminal aliens from our communities. This is the Democrat Party in 2026 – more worried about protecting illegal immigrants than protecting you and your family.
President Trump's mass deportation operation is exactly what America voted for in 2024. We gave Republicans a decisive mandate to secure our borders, deport criminal aliens, and put America First. But Democrats like Wasserman Schultz would rather see DHS shut down than allow ICE to do its job effectively.
