The Islamic Republic of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is dead, and it wasn't old age that killed him - it was American resolve under President Donald Trump's leadership. While European nations continue their pathetic appeasement policies, Trump has once again proven that peace comes through strength, not weakness.
For decades, Iran's murderous regime has terrorized its own people, funded proxy wars across the Middle East, and chanted "Death to America" while plotting attacks against our homeland. The ayatollah's regime crushed dissidents, executed protestors, and exported terror from Lebanon to Yemen. Previous administrations - especially the disastrous Biden years - responded with meaningless sanctions and empty diplomatic gestures that only emboldened these Islamic extremists.
But President Trump doesn't play games when it comes to protecting Americans.
Europe's Shameful Surrender
The stark contrast couldn't be clearer. While America takes decisive action to eliminate threats to our national security, European leaders are busy lecturing us about "proportional responses" and "diplomatic solutions." These are the same weak-kneed politicians who watched Iran's regime murder protesters in the streets and did nothing.
France, Germany, and the UK - once proud nations - have become so consumed with political correctness and globalist groupthink that they've lost the will to defend Western civilization. They'd rather send strongly-worded letters than take meaningful action against a regime that has American blood on its hands.
"Iran's regime has advertised its project for decades: repression at home, terror abroad, and 'Death to America' as a rallying cry," according to intelligence sources familiar with the operation.
This is what happens when you elect leaders who put America First instead of bowing to international bureaucrats and global elites. Trump understands that sometimes you have to eliminate evil before it eliminates you.
While European capitals wring their hands about "escalation," American families can sleep safer tonight knowing that one of the world's most dangerous terrorist leaders can never again threaten our homeland. That's the difference between a commander-in-chief who fights for his people and the cowards across the Atlantic who've forgotten what courage looks like.
When will Europe finally wake up and remember what it means to defend freedom?
