Conservative CNN contributor Scott Jennings absolutely obliterated his liberal colleagues on live television as they pathetically attempted to justify Democrats' unconscionable decision to shut down the Department of Homeland Security over their radical immigration demands.
The partial government shutdown has left critical DHS functions crippled because Democrats are throwing a tantrum over Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations, demanding sweeping "reforms" after what they claim are "lethal incidents" during ICE operations under the Trump administration's renewed enforcement efforts.
But Jennings wasn't having any of their gaslighting nonsense.
"Is it even REMOTELY reasonable?" Jennings fired back at the panel. "The irresponsible Democrats continue to keep DHS shut down. Partisanship with deadly consequences."
The exchange reportedly saw Jennings taking on CNN host Abby Phillips and other liberal panelists who were desperately trying to spin the Democrats' reckless obstruction as somehow justified. These are the same people who screamed about "national security" for four years under Trump, yet now they're perfectly fine handicapping our homeland security apparatus because they don't like effective immigration enforcement.
Democrats Put Politics Over Public Safety
Let's be crystal clear about what's happening here, Patriots. President Trump and Secretary Kristi Noem are doing exactly what they promised – securing our borders and removing dangerous criminals who have no right to be in our country. The mass deportation operation is working, ICE is finally unleashed, and Democrats are absolutely losing their minds.
So what do they do? They shut down the very agency responsible for keeping Americans safe, all because they can't stomach the sight of immigration laws actually being enforced for once.
This is the same party that spent years fear-mongering about "threats to democracy" and "national security," yet they're willing to kneecap DHS because their open-borders agenda is being dismantled. The hypocrisy is breathtaking, even by Democrat standards.
Jennings deserves credit for calling out this insanity on their own network. While his liberal colleagues twisted themselves into pretzels defending the indefensible, he cut straight to the truth: Democrats are putting partisan politics ahead of American lives, and it's absolutely inexcusable.
