The Democrats' desperation reached new heights during a Senate hearing when one of their hand-picked witnesses accused President Trump of conducting a "population purge" through his common-sense immigration enforcement policies. But Louisiana Senator John Kennedy wasn't having any of this hysteria.
The unhinged witness, clearly parroting the same tired talking points we've heard from the left for years, attempted to paint Trump's mass deportation program as some sort of ethnic cleansing operation. It's the kind of inflammatory rhetoric that Democrats love to throw around when they can't defend their failed open-border policies on the merits.
But Kennedy, known for his sharp wit and no-nonsense approach, fired back with a response that perfectly captured what every patriotic American was thinking: "You trigger my gag reflex."
The Louisiana senator's blunt assessment cut through the manufactured outrage and exposed the witness for what they really were – another partisan hack trying to weaponize inflammatory language against the duly elected president.
This is exactly what we've come to expect from the Democrats and their allies in the administrative state. They can't defend sanctuary cities. They can't explain why American taxpayers should foot the bill for millions of illegal immigrants. They can't justify the crime, the drugs, and the chaos that comes with open borders.
So instead, they resort to hysterical accusations and Holocaust comparisons. It's disgusting, and frankly, it's insulting to the intelligence of the American people who voted overwhelmingly for Trump's America First agenda.
The Real 'Purge' Americans Want
You know what Americans actually want purged? The failed policies that turned our border into a revolving door. The catch-and-release programs that put criminals back on our streets. The taxpayer-funded benefits that incentivize more illegal immigration.
President Trump is simply doing what he promised – enforcing the law and putting American citizens first. That's not a "population purge" – that's called governing.
Senator Kennedy's brutal honesty is exactly what we need more of in Washington. While Democrats manufacture crisis and outrage, real leaders are focused on solutions that actually work for the American people.
