Oklahoma Rep. Kevin Hern is making his move for the U.S. Senate, launching a campaign to fill the seat being vacated by Rep. Markwayne Mullin, who President Trump has tapped to serve as Secretary of Homeland Security.
Hern, who currently serves as chairman of the House Republican Study Committee, wasted no time positioning himself as a rock-solid ally of Trump's America First movement. The congressman promised voters he would be a "loyal ally" to President Trump's agenda in the upper chamber.
"Oklahoma needs a senator who will fight alongside President Trump to secure our border, drain the swamp, and put America First," Hern declared as he announced his Senate bid. "I've proven my conservative credentials in the House, and I'm ready to take that fight to the Senate."
Trump's Team Building Continues
The announcement comes as President Trump continues reshuffling his administration with proven America First warriors. Mullin's nomination to head the Department of Homeland Security signals Trump's commitment to finally getting serious about border security and mass deportations—something the Biden regime completely ignored for four disastrous years.
Hern's track record speaks for itself. As RSC chairman, he's been a bulldog fighting against big government spending and woke policies that have infected our federal bureaucracy. He's exactly the kind of conservative fighter we need in the Senate to rubber-stamp Trump's agenda, not obstruct it like too many RINOs have done in the past.
"We can't afford senators who talk conservative back home but cave to the swamp once they get to Washington," Hern emphasized.
Oklahoma Patriots know they can count on Hern to stand with Trump when it matters most. While Democrats and their media allies continue their relentless attacks on our duly elected President, conservatives like Hern are stepping up to ensure Trump has the Senate votes he needs to Make America Great Again.
Will Oklahoma choose another America First warrior, or will they settle for a politician who might buckle under pressure from the deep state establishment?
