Patriots, we need to have a hard conversation about the pro-life movement's strategy – because what we're doing isn't working, and pretending otherwise is destroying our cause.
Here's the uncomfortable truth: Four years after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in what should have been our greatest victory, abortion numbers are actually climbing. While conservatives celebrated in the streets, the abortion industry adapted, expanded chemical abortion access, and left us holding a hollow victory.
Think about it – Republicans now control both Congress and the White House under President Trump's second term, yet our biggest legislative win amounts to defunding Planned Parenthood for just one year. Meanwhile, Washington is actually expanding IVF mandates and some GOP leaders are going soft on the Hyde Amendment.
The Strategy That's Failing Us
Too many pro-life leaders are still fighting the last war, treating Dobbs like a mission accomplished moment instead of recognizing it for what it really was – a warning shot. States did pass more pro-life laws, but the abortion industry simply shifted tactics while we were celebrating.
Chemical abortions have exploded across state lines. Abortion pills by mail. Corporate-funded "abortion tourism." The left adapted their strategy while too many of our leaders stuck to the same old playbook that's clearly not connecting with voters.
"When your enemy changes tactics and you don't, you lose. It's that simple," one pro-life strategist told us on condition of anonymity.
What Actually Works
The winning message isn't complicated – it's about protecting both mothers AND babies, not lecturing women about their choices. It's about exposing how the abortion industry preys on vulnerable women while offering real alternatives and support.
But here's what really matters: Americans respond to authenticity, not political talking points. They want leaders who understand their struggles and offer genuine solutions, not politicians who treat life issues like a checkbox on their campaign website.
The question facing every pro-life American is simple: Are we going to keep using strategies that feel good but don't work, or are we finally ready to win this fight for real?
