Another day, another entitled Democrat thinking the rules don't apply to them. Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo found herself unceremoniously escorted out of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo after attempting to waltz into a restricted chute-seat area without the required wristband – then had the audacity to go online and blame everyone but herself.
According to rodeo officials, Hidalgo tried to access an area clearly marked as off-limits without proper credentials. When staff did their job and enforced the rules that apply to everyone else, this typical liberal politician apparently couldn't handle being told 'no' like the rest of us peasants.
But here's where it gets rich, Patriots. Instead of taking responsibility for her own actions like an adult, Hidalgo ran straight to social media to post a lengthy complaint accusing the rodeo staff of 'mistreatment' and having 'mentality issues.' Because nothing says leadership like publicly whining when you get caught breaking the rules, right?
The Democrat Playbook: Rules for Thee, Not for Me
This is classic Democrat behavior – the same mentality we see from the swamp creatures in Washington who think their political titles make them above the law. Whether it's Nancy Pelosi getting her hair done during lockdowns or AOC partying maskless at the Met Gala, these people consistently believe they're special.
The Houston Rodeo has clear safety protocols for a reason. These aren't suggestions – they're rules that protect both spectators and participants. But apparently Judge Hidalgo's political ego was too big to follow basic instructions like everyone else.
"When confronted with basic rule enforcement, instead of apologizing or showing any humility, she chose to attack the very people just doing their jobs."
What's particularly galling is how quickly she played the victim card online. This is the same toxic mentality infecting Democrat leadership nationwide – never accept responsibility, always blame others, and immediately cry persecution when held accountable.
Texans deserve better than entitled politicians who think their office gives them special privileges at community events. The Houston Rodeo staff should be commended for treating everyone equally, regardless of political position. That's the American way – something Democrats seem to have forgotten.
