Democrat Senate hopeful James Talarico just delivered one of the most tone-deaf political messages in recent memory, warning Americans about the supposed dangers of fascism that will be "wrapped in the flag and carrying the cross" - apparently oblivious to how this sounds to the millions of flag-loving, church-going patriots who make up the backbone of America.

During his recent appearance on Stephen Colbert's late-night show, Talarico - who's desperately hoping to snatch Republican John Cornyn's Senate seat - launched into a predictable rant about "Christian nationalism," that convenient boogeyman Democrats use to demonize anyone who dares to be both patriotic AND Christian in the nation that was founded on precisely those principles.

But here's where it gets deliciously ironic: Talarico's fear-mongering about the flag and cross perfectly exposes what Democrats REALLY think about traditional American values. To this radical leftist, apparently loving your country and following Christ are warning signs of fascism. How's that for a winning campaign message in Texas?

The Left's War on Faith and Patriotism

This isn't just another case of Democrat foot-in-mouth disease - it's a window into the soul of the modern left. They've become so radicalized, so disconnected from mainstream America, that they literally see the symbols of our nation's heritage as threats to democracy.

Think about what Talarico is actually saying here: If you love America enough to honor the flag, and if you love God enough to carry the cross, YOU are the problem. YOU are the fascist threat. Not the regime that weaponized federal agencies against political opponents, not the party that tried to pack the Supreme Court, not the activists burning cities - no, it's the church-going patriots who are dangerous.

"Christian nationalism" has become the left's favorite weapon to attack anyone who believes America was founded on Judeo-Christian principles and should return to them.

President Trump's massive 2024 victory proved that Americans are sick and tired of being lectured by coastal elites who despise everything we hold dear. Talarico's comments are exhibit A in why Democrats keep losing: they've declared war on the very people whose votes they need.

Patriots, this is exactly why we can't get complacent. The radical left isn't just coming for our politics - they're coming for our faith, our flag, and our fundamental identity as Americans. Will Texas voters really elect someone who sees their deepest values as a fascist threat?

Does anyone have the full video of these comments? I want to share this with my family but need to see the complete context first.

The fact that they're openly hostile to the cross and flag tells you everything you need to know about today's Democrat party.

I've been attending the same church for 30 years and we've always said the Pledge of Allegiance before service. If that bothers this candidate, they clearly don't represent people like me and my community. What's next, removing crosses from churches?

Same here! Our church has both the American flag and Christian flag displayed proudly. These people want to erase our heritage.

This is exactly why we need to vote these radical leftists out of office! They hate everything America stands for - our faith, our flag, our values. How can someone who attacks Christianity even think they deserve to represent us?

Couldn't agree more. They show their true colors when they think no one's watching.
