Mohamed Bailor Jalloh, a naturalized American citizen from Sierra Leone and former National Guard soldier with prior terrorism convictions, opened fire at Old Dominion University on Thursday, killing a decorated service member in cold blood.
This latest attack by a naturalized citizen highlights a disturbing pattern that the mainstream media refuses to acknowledge: America's immigration system has been weaponized against the very people it's supposed to protect.
Jalloh represents at least the third known naturalized citizen to commit a violent attack on U.S. soil recently, according to reports. Yet where's the outrage from the left? Where are the calls for immigration reform from the same people who lecture us about "gun violence" every day?
The Biden Legacy of Failed Vetting
This blood is on the hands of everyone who opposed President Trump's travel restrictions and "extreme vetting" policies during his first term. While Trump fought to implement common-sense security measures, Democrats and their allies in the courts blocked him at every turn, crying "racism" and "Islamophobia."
Now we have the tragic result: decorated American veterans dying at the hands of people who should never have been allowed to stay in this country after their first terrorism conviction.
"When someone commits terrorism on American soil, their citizenship should be immediately revoked and they should be deported. Period."
The fact that Jalloh was allowed to remain in America after previous terrorism charges shows just how broken our system became under decades of weak leadership. Thank God we have President Trump back in office to fix this mess.
Time for Real Solutions
This tragedy underscores why Trump's America First agenda is more critical than ever. We need immediate action on denaturalization procedures for terrorists, enhanced screening for all immigration applicants, and zero tolerance for anyone who commits acts of violence against Americans.
How many more decorated veterans must die before we admit that not everyone deserves to be an American citizen? How many more families must be destroyed by people who hate the very country that gave them refuge?
Patriots, it's time to demand answers and real action from our representatives. American lives depend on it.
