Another day, another Democrat crying wolf about President Trump – and getting caught red-handed in their own incompetence.
Rep. Joyce Beatty (D-OH) launched into a tirade accusing President Donald Trump and the Kennedy Center's board of deliberately excluding her from an important board meeting, painting herself as a victim of political persecution. But court filings have now revealed the embarrassing truth: the invitation was sent properly and was sitting in her personal email spam folder the entire time.
This latest episode perfectly encapsulates the Democrats' playbook – make wild accusations first, check facts never. How many times have we seen this exact scenario play out? Democrats immediately assume malice and discrimination, rush to the media with their sob stories, only to discover later that their own negligence was to blame.
The Left's Victimhood Complex on Full Display
Beatty's knee-jerk reaction to blame Trump for her own email management failures is peak Democrat behavior. Rather than checking her spam folder or following up professionally, she chose to weaponize her oversight into a political attack. This is the same crowd that lectures Americans about "responsibility" and "accountability."
The Kennedy Center, meanwhile, had done everything correctly – sending the invitation through proper channels as required. But that didn't stop Beatty from dragging their reputation through the mud alongside President Trump's.
"This is exactly why Americans are fed up with Democrat politicians who cry wolf every chance they get," said one GOP strategist. "They're more interested in playing victim than doing their actual jobs."
What's particularly galling is that Beatty's false accusations could have been avoided with basic email hygiene. Most Americans check their spam folders regularly – apparently that's too much to ask from our elected officials.
How many other Democrat "scandals" are just sitting in someone's spam folder? At what point do Americans demand that their representatives exercise basic competence before making explosive public accusations?
