Let that sink in, Patriots. We're talking about requiring people to prove they're AMERICAN CITIZENS before voting in American elections. This should be the easiest slam dunk in political history. Yet Senate Majority Leader John Thune is putting on a pathetic display of failure theater, while Texas RINO John Cornyn is flip-flopping faster than a fish on dry land.
But the crown jewel of betrayal? Alaska's Lisa Murkowski – the same senator who's been a thorn in conservatives' side for years – is now openly OPPOSING the bill. Murkowski apparently believes non-citizens should have more voting rights than the American taxpayers who fund her bloated salary.
The Swamp Protects Itself
Here's what's really happening: The establishment knows that passing the SAVE Act would expose decades of election manipulation. It would signal that Congress actually answers to voters instead of lobbyists, foreign interests, and the administrative state puppeteers pulling their strings.
These senators didn't get elected to represent Americans – they got elected to maintain the rigged system that keeps them in power. Requiring citizenship verification threatens their entire corrupt ecosystem.
