Finally, a Republican with the backbone to do what needs to be done about the growing terror threat from within our own borders.
Rep. Riley Moore (R-WV-02) announced Thursday he will introduce groundbreaking legislation to strip citizenship from naturalized Americans who support terrorism or commit attacks in the name of Islamist jihad. This comes as patriots across the nation demand action following a horrific pattern of terror attacks on innocent Americans.
Moore's bill would strengthen America's ability to denaturalize and repatriate naturalized citizens who have shown their true colors by supporting or engaging in terrorist activities. It's about time someone in Congress had the courage to say what millions of Americans are thinking: if you come to our country and then turn against us, you don't deserve to be here.
Common Sense Solution to a Growing Threat
While the Biden administration spent four years rolling out the red carpet for anyone and everyone, regardless of their intentions toward America, the Trump-Vance administration is now dealing with the consequences. This legislation gives our government the tools it needs to protect law-abiding Americans from those who exploit our generosity.
"We cannot continue to allow people who hate America and support terrorism to hide behind citizenship papers while plotting against the very country that welcomed them," a congressional source familiar with the bill told reporters.
The timing couldn't be more critical. As President Trump's mass deportation efforts ramp up and Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem works to secure our borders, this legislation addresses the threat from those already here who have proven they cannot be trusted.
This is exactly the kind of America First legislation that voters demanded when they gave Republicans control of government. No more political correctness. No more coddling terrorists. Just common-sense policies that put American safety first.
The real question is: will every Republican in Congress have the spine to support this bill, or will we see some RINOs cave to inevitable liberal hysteria about "due process" for people who want to kill Americans?
