Virginia's Democrat Governor is facing a firestorm of criticism after her disgraceful response to what the FBI is investigating as a possible terrorist attack at Old Dominion University that left a decorated military officer dead and two others wounded.
Lt. Col. Brandon Shah, an ODU professor of military science, was murdered Thursday when an armed terrorist opened fire on campus before heroic students stepped up to subdue and kill the attacker. While Americans mourned the loss of this military hero, the governor's response was nothing short of pathetic.
Patriots across social media are absolutely torching the Democrat governor for her tone-deaf statements that completely failed to address the severity of what appears to be a terror attack on American soil. Instead of showing strong leadership and demanding answers, she delivered the same weak, politically correct talking points we've come to expect from failed Democrat politicians.
Another Democrat Failure When Americans Need Leadership
This is exactly why voters rejected the Democrat agenda in 2024 and put President Trump back in the White House. While Trump would have immediately called this what it is - terrorism - and demanded swift justice, Democrat governors like Virginia's continue to coddle criminals and terrorists with their soft-on-crime policies.
Lt. Col. Shah dedicated his life to serving our nation and training the next generation of military leaders. He deserved better than this governor's weak response to his murder. The fact that students had to take matters into their own hands to stop this terrorist shows exactly how Democrats have failed to protect law-abiding Americans.
"So pathetic," wrote one frustrated patriot, perfectly capturing what millions of Americans are thinking about this governor's failed leadership.
The FBI's terrorism investigation should be a wake-up call that radical elements are targeting our military and educational institutions. But don't expect Democrat politicians to connect the dots or take real action to protect Americans.
How many more military heroes have to die before Democrat governors stop playing politics and start protecting the Americans they swore to serve?
