The mask is officially off. Senate Republicans are showing their true colors as they systematically sabotage the SAVE America Act – legislation that would actually give voters a voice in how this country is run. And guess what? They hate it.
From Majority Leader John Thune's pathetic failure theater to Texas Senator John Cornyn's spineless flip-flopping on the filibuster, the GOP establishment is working overtime to make sure this bill never sees the light of day. Meanwhile, Alaska's Lisa Murkowski – surprise, surprise – is openly opposing the measure entirely.
Why are these so-called Republicans fighting so hard against legislation that puts America first? Simple: because the SAVE Act would signal that Congress actually answers to voters instead of special interests, lobbyists, and the deep state bureaucrats who really run Washington.
The Swamp Protects Its Own
This isn't incompetence, folks – this is deliberate sabotage. The establishment knows that if the SAVE Act passes, it would set a dangerous precedent: that elected officials might actually have to listen to the people who put them in office.
Think about it. When was the last time Congress passed meaningful legislation that benefited ordinary Americans without loading it up with pork barrel spending and corporate handouts? These swamp creatures have built their entire careers on maintaining the status quo while pretending to fight for change.
"The Senate GOP's refusal to do what's necessary has been a sight to behold," as The Federalist correctly pointed out. It's political cowardice at its finest.
President Trump and his America First agenda represent everything the establishment fears: accountability, transparency, and putting Americans before special interests. That's why they're fighting so hard to kill any legislation that would actually drain the swamp.
Patriots, this is exactly why we need to keep draining the swamp in 2026 and beyond. These RINOs have shown their true allegiance, and it's not to the American people. When push comes to shove, will you remember which Republicans stood with the establishment instead of standing with Trump and the voters who elected them?
