The Republican establishment's mask is slipping off once again, and what's underneath isn't pretty. Despite having control of Congress and a mandate from the American people, GOP leaders are doing everything in their power to kill the SAVE America Act – legislation that would actually require proof of citizenship to vote in federal elections.

Think about that for a moment, Patriots. We're talking about a basic requirement that voters prove they're American citizens before casting ballots that determine America's future. This should be the easiest 'yes' vote in congressional history. Instead, we're watching supposed "conservatives" tie themselves in knots to avoid doing what their constituents sent them to Washington to do.

The Usual Suspects Emerge

Leading the charge against election integrity is the predictable crew of swamp creatures. Majority Leader John Thune is putting on another performance of his famous "failure theater," while Texas Senator John Cornyn has somehow managed to flip-flop on his own filibuster position. And surprise, surprise – Alaska's Lisa Murkowski is in outright opposition to the bill.

These aren't accidents, folks. This is the GOP establishment sending a clear message: they answer to donors and lobbyists, not voters.

"The Senate GOP's refusal to do what's necessary to pass the SAVE America Act has been a sight to behold," according to analysis from The Federalist, highlighting just how far these Republicans will go to avoid accountability.

Why They're Really Scared

Here's what terrifies the establishment about the SAVE Act: it would actually work. Requiring citizenship verification would restore confidence in our elections and prove that Republicans can deliver on their promises when they have power. But that kind of success makes it harder for these career politicians to keep running the same scams election after election.

The swamp creatures prefer problems they can fundraise off rather than solutions that might threaten their cushy arrangements. It's the same reason they dragged their feet on the border wall, healthcare reform, and draining the Deep State.

President Trump didn't return to office so establishment Republicans could continue their kabuki theater. The American people deserve leaders who will fight for election integrity, not senators who fold faster than Superman on laundry day when the going gets tough.

How much longer will Patriots tolerate Republicans who campaign like conservatives but govern like Democrats?

Unbelievable but not surprising. I've been a poll worker for 15 years and have seen firsthand how loose some of these verification processes are. We need real reform, not more of the same broken system that benefits career politicians.

Thank you for your service as a poll worker! We need more patriots like you involved in the process.

Can someone explain what specific provisions in the SAVE Act were blocked? I want to have the facts when I call my representative's office tomorrow.

This is EXACTLY why I stopped donating to the RNC years ago. The establishment GOP cares more about their cozy relationships with lobbyists than actually representing us. Time to primary every single RINO who voted against this!

Same here! Been giving directly to individual candidates only. The party apparatus is completely compromised.
