The mask is officially off. Senate Republicans are deliberately tanking the SAVE America Act – legislation that would require proof of citizenship to vote – because the last thing the GOP establishment wants is Congress actually answering to American voters instead of their donor class masters.

From Majority Leader John Thune's pathetic failure theater to Texas Senator John Cornyn's cowardly flip-flop on the filibuster to Alaska's Lisa Murkowski outright opposing the bill, we're witnessing a masterclass in how RINOs betray the very people who elected them.

Let's be crystal clear about what's happening here: The SAVE Act would ensure only American citizens can vote in American elections. This should be the most basic, non-controversial requirement in any functioning republic. Yet somehow, requiring proof of citizenship has become "controversial" to Republicans who supposedly represent us.

The Swamp's Real Fear

Why are establishment Republicans so terrified of this bill? Because election integrity means voter accountability. And voter accountability means these career politicians might actually have to deliver on their promises instead of just talking tough during campaign season.

The dirty secret Washington doesn't want you to know is that both parties benefit from the current broken system. Democrats get their illegal votes, and establishment Republicans get to play victim while fundraising off their "principled opposition" – all while never having to face consequences from an electorate that might hold them accountable.

President Trump has made election integrity a cornerstone of his second term agenda, which makes the GOP establishment's sabotage even more disgusting. These are the same Republicans who rode Trump's coattails back to power, then immediately started undermining his priorities.

"The American people deserve to know that their votes count and that elections are decided by citizens, not by foreign nationals or fraudulent ballots," one Trump administration official told reporters.

Patriots, this is exactly why we need to primary every single RINO who stands in the way of election integrity. The establishment fears nothing more than answering to informed, engaged voters who demand results.

The question is: Will We the People make them pay the price for this betrayal, or will we let them get away with it again?

The swamp runs deep on both sides of the aisle. These establishment Republicans are just as bad as the Democrats when it comes to election security.

Sad but true. They're all part of the same corrupt system.

Can someone explain what specific provisions in the SAVE Act they're blocking? I want to know exactly what they're opposing so I can call my representative.

Keep exposing these establishment politicians! The grassroots conservative movement is watching and taking names for the next primary season.

I worked as a poll watcher in 2022 and saw firsthand how loose the verification processes are. We absolutely need the SAVE Act - anyone opposing it is suspect in my book.

My state has voter ID requirements and it works just fine. People bring their ID to buy groceries, they can bring it to vote. The GOP establishment needs to stop making excuses.

The fact that they're afraid to answer to voters tells you everything you need to know. If the SAVE Act is so terrible, why can't they defend their position publicly?

Exactly! Transparency should be their middle name if they have nothing to hide.

This is exactly why we need to clean house in the GOP. The establishment is more interested in protecting their own interests than securing our elections!

100% agree! Time to primary these RINOs who won't fight for election integrity.
