The swamp creatures are at it again, folks. Despite President Trump's decisive mandate and clear promises to restore election integrity, Senate Republicans are pulling every dirty trick in the book to sabotage the SAVE America Act – legislation that would simply require proof of citizenship before voting.
The betrayal has been breathtaking to witness. Majority Leader John Thune is orchestrating elaborate failure theater, while Texas Senator John Cornyn – who should know better given his border state's illegal immigration crisis – has flip-flopped on filibuster rules when it actually matters. And don't get us started on Alaska's Lisa Murkowski, who's openly opposing a bill that would protect the sacred right of AMERICAN CITIZENS to have their votes count.
The Establishment's Fear of Accountability
Why are these supposed Republicans so terrified of requiring proof of citizenship to vote? Because deep down, they know what every patriotic American knows: our elections have been compromised by illegal voting, and cleaning up the voter rolls threatens the very system that keeps these career politicians in power.
The SAVE Act isn't some radical proposal – it's common sense that enjoys overwhelming support among actual voters. But that's exactly why Congress hates it. When representatives are forced to answer to legitimate voters instead of manipulating the system through illegal ballots and administrative state shenanigans, suddenly their cushy Washington lifestyles become a lot less secure.
"The Senate GOP's refusal to do what's necessary has been a sight to behold," one conservative observer noted, watching as Republicans find new ways to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
This is precisely the kind of establishment resistance that President Trump warned us about. These RINOs talk a big game about election integrity during campaign season, but when it's time to actually deliver for the American people, they fold faster than a house of cards.
Patriots elected Trump and a Republican majority to DRAIN THE SWAMP, not accommodate it. Every Senator blocking the SAVE Act needs to explain to their constituents why they think non-citizens should have more say in American elections than the citizens they're supposed to represent.
The question isn't whether we can afford to pass the SAVE Act – it's whether we can afford to let these establishment frauds continue betraying the voters who put them in office.
