The mask is officially off. Senate Republicans are openly sabotaging President Trump's SAVE America Act, and their pathetic excuses aren't fooling anyone who's been paying attention to the swamp's games.
From Majority Leader John Thune's theatrical hand-wringing to Texas Senator John Cornyn's convenient flip-flopping on the filibuster, the GOP establishment is doing everything possible to kill legislation that would actually secure our elections and restore faith in American democracy.
But the most brazen betrayal comes from Alaska's Lisa Murkowski, who isn't even pretending anymore β she's in outright opposition to a bill that would require proof of citizenship to vote in federal elections. Let that sink in, patriots. A Republican senator is opposing a requirement that only American citizens vote in American elections.
The Swamp Protects Itself
Why are these so-called Republicans working overtime to kill the SAVE Act? Because it would actually force Congress to answer to voters instead of their donors and lobbyist friends. The establishment β both Democrat and Republican β has gotten fat and comfortable with a system that keeps them in power while everyday Americans get ignored.
The SAVE Act represents everything the swamp fears most: accountability, transparency, and elections that can't be manipulated by special interests.
This isn't about parliamentary procedure or Senate traditions. This is about a ruling class that would rather maintain their grip on power than do what's right for America. They know that secure elections mean more America First candidates and fewer establishment puppets.
President Trump campaigned on draining the swamp, and the SAVE Act is exactly the kind of legislation that would do it. No wonder the RINOs are running scared.
Time to Primary the Traitors
Every Republican senator who blocks or undermines the SAVE Act needs to be primaried out of office. We the People didn't give the GOP control of government so they could play patty-cake with Democrats and protect the status quo.
The choice is clear: either these senators start representing the Americans who elected them, or we'll find new senators who will. The MAGA movement didn't come this far to let establishment Republicans stab us in the back.
